Another good solid session today, on another day where I didn’t really feel like doing a hard session. Having your training planned out for the week makes it much easier to get the sessions done rather than making it up as you go along. Just write down at the beginning of the week (or 2 weekly period as I generally do) which sessions you will do, and targets for them, to take all of the guess work out. I always have 3 core sessions, or harder sessions, each week and make up anything else with steady distance work. So my priority is always to get the 3 core sessions done every week no matter what.
