Getting back on the horse

Cross training day today began with a pretty hard 20min treadmill run, then during the 15mins on the stepper after this I came up with the great idea of finishing off the session with a 2k on the erg. No erg warm up, just straight on, set 2000m, aim for 1:36’s steady, and work from there.

2k = 6:23.8 / 1:35.9 / 31
500m splits:
1:36.0 / 31
1:36.3 / 31
1:36.3 / 31
1:35.2 / 32

Not a particularly fast time, but it’s a 2k time non the less.

As for the rationale for changing the drag on the 100m sprints yesterday, there wasn’t one, I was just playing.
